Prof. Dr. Manohar Palakurthi, PhD, BAMS

Vaidya Manohar Palakurthi is a globally renowned Ayurvedic physician, educator, and researcher with over 40 years of expertise in Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s consciousness-based approach to health. A pioneer in the field, he has dedicated his life to bridging ancient wisdom with modern wellness, helping thousands achieve balance and vitality through Ayurveda.  

His journey began with direct mentorship under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, shaping him into one of the leading experts in Maharishi AyurVeda. In 1986, he founded and ran a premier Panchakarma clinic in Pacific Palisades, California, attracting celebrities, students, and seekers from all walks of life for rejuvenative therapies. His reputation as a master of Maharishi Nadi Vigyan has taken him across the globe, offering consultations to high-profile individuals and diverse communities, from Hollywood elites to spiritual practitioners.  

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Palakurthi serves as a Clinical Professor of Physiology and Health and the Clinical Director of the Maharishi AyurVeda Panchakarma Center at Maharishi International University (MIU) in Iowa. His expertise has been instrumental in shaping Ayurvedic education, leading advanced student clinics, and mentoring aspiring practitioners. His true passion lies in education, sharing the wisdom of Ayurveda and consciousness-based healing with unmatched depth, clarity, and devotion.  

After spending two years as the lead physician and Vaidya on behalf of the Doshi Family—helping manifest their vision of bringing authentic Maharishi AyurVeda wisdom to Los Angeles—he is now practicing at **SURYA Spa** in Santa Monica. His unwavering commitment to teaching and mentoring has led him to collaborate with **JAI Integrated**, where he joyfully advises and consults Erin Rusler and other dedicated students, guiding them toward mastery with pure love and enthusiasm for learning.
